I am trying to scan for volume 20 days ago greater than (average Volume(20) times .90

I think I may not be using the "ago" function correctly ..... here is my code

and[volume(20,ago)>(daily sma(20, daily volume)*.9)]

Any help would be apprecaited !!!

This should work. It compares the volume 20 days ago to the 20 day average volume AS OF 20 days ago (not today's 20 day average volume).

and [20 days ago volume > 20 days ago sma(20, volume) * .9 ]

If you want to compare the volume 20 days ago to TODAY's 20 day average volume, then it would be

and [20 days ago volume > sma(20, volume) * .9 ]
