    Maybe we're interested in a discussion of scanning and stock selection?
    The removed scan, for me, produces a universe (1 of 2) in which I scan for purchasing opportunities. I'd guess that if I threw a dart at that list of stocks I'd have at least an 80% chance of making money if I held it for a year or so. But as you mentioned, many of those stocks have a much higher rate of appreciation than others. A sort of fun scan I did of that universe is this:
