Is the below possible in Stockcharts. Appreciate it. Logic: Price > Average of High, Low, Close of Prior 3 days and Price > Average of High, Low, Close of Prior 3 Weeks. Is this possible? Appreciate your feedback.

I would like to replicate the 1-2-3 pattern trading process using the Zigzag overlay. Using End of Day results, is it possible to get stockcharts to list the stocks that are changing direction for the line on the zigzag? Is there something in Stockcharts that currently identifies stocks that are meeting the 1-2-3 pattern?

i built a basic scan encompassing Sectors and Industries which I picked from the Scan Components-Sectors and Industries drop-down list. I picked 3 sectors for the scan: Technology Sector, Health Care Sector, and Materials Sector. Unfortunately i CAN NOT get the scan to run against all 3 sectors at the same time, instead I…

Sorry. I'm stumped on this one. Is it at all possible to run crossovers on 2-yr or 3- year charts? Example: MACD crossing zero line but filtering to find that crossover on 2-yr or 3-year weekly charts? If so, can someone provide one example either crossing above or below a zero line or moving average line? Thanks in…

In a recent webinar Arthur Hill showed his 3 step trading setup with the following conditions: 1. Condition: PPO (25,125,1) is positive 2. Setup: RSI 10 moves below 40 3. Trigger: StochRSI 10 surges above .95 Art said this would be an easy scan to setup but didn't include the scan in the webinar. Any help would be…

You could do it this way: [group is sp500] and [ [open > ema(9,close)] or [open x ema(9,close)] ] The "x ema" is redundant, since if it crossed over it is also "> ema". But it doesn't hurt. This scan will work for any day the open is above the ema, not just 3/13 - also 3/12, 3/11, 3/8 etc.

Hi I searched but could not find anything. I am looking for a scan that would have a stock moving up exactly 3 and 4 consecutive days. Thanks!

This is what I'm aiming to scan for. But my attempt to include the inside day seems to be scrambling the results - lower highs keep cropping up. Any suggestions? Rules (via 'Hit & Run Trading'): ADX must be more than 30 and the -DI more than the +DI. Three consecutive higher highs or any combination of 2 higher highs and…

Is there any way I can show 3 charts on 1 screen view ... for example, a daily candlestick chart, a daily Elder bar chart, and a daily Renko chart. This would give me a fast way to see 2 different "opinions/ perspectives" of the same stock symbol.

if you look at a chart of UNFI at the following dates, is that a wedge pattern that im looking for? UNFI between 3/26/2020 to 4/3/2020 and 5/1/2020 to 5/9/2020 How would i scan for that? I tried doing a scan of stocks between 0-10% above the 200 day moving average , but its just a nonsense scan. Thanks!

Using a RSI(3) setting with an overlay of SMA(2) I am trying to scan for all crossings of RSI(3) up through the overlay SMA(2) line, that occur beneath the 40 level of the RSI indicator per the scale on the right hand side. Any help on how to set up a scan to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Condition 1 - It's not clear what you want to compare - MA 3 at MA 3 x MA 20 versus MA 3 7 days ago, - the two closes on those days, - the MA 3 at MA 3 x MA 20 to the close 7 days ago; - do you mean 7 trading days ago from today, or 7 days prior to the crossover ? Also, since we don't know when the crossover occurred, you…

Hi All, I'm trying to create a scan that will scan for gap up, and something where the price stays above the low of the initial gap up and stays above there for 3 days. Any suggestions on the syntax? Also I'd like it to be SPX and Nasdaq 100 companies. thanks!! Jon

I plot SMA(3) of RSI(14) and use the SMA(3) as the signal line to find crossovers.

Why am I limited to 3 indicators. How do I add more?

Could someone please point me in the direction of a code to scan for stocks that came down 3 x ATRs from a 52-week high? Thank you in advance! Alex

Does this look right? I'm new to scanning, but what I'm trying to do is uncover any stocks (in my chart list) to see if their price has been under the SMA(10) for three weeks in a row. This seems to pull the correct results, but I just want to make sure I've set this up correctly for what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks!…

I saw this thread which is somewhat helpful but didn't say clearly. Below is the scan code I have. I want to do this scan against the top 3 sectors listed at https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/sectorsummary.html in the one week and one-month time periods (Either time period works). Is it possible?[type is stock] and…

Adding Price Relative is nothing new. We already had Percent Relative. ... You can use any variety of Percent Relative ... week, month, etc. 1 week, 39 weeks, etc. Example ... rank by [ weekly PctRelative(1,$spx) + weekly PctRelative(2,$spx) + weekly PctRelative(3,$spx) + weekly PctRelative(3,$spx) ]
