Great Service! + Liquidity question.

I would just like to firstly say that stockcharts is a great service. After getting used to the syntax of scanning, my scans are working perfectly and are very helpful. My last question was fixed very well.

I just noticed that the term Liquidity is used in somebody's scan they sent in, but I cannot find a definition for this function on the website.
Could someone tell me how this function is calculated? Many thanks,
Dave.

  • You are correct that a site search for "liquidity" does not find this entry, which is unfortunate.

But, all terms available in the drop downs on the Advanced Scan page are explained here:

    stockcharts.com/docs/doku.php?id=scans:advanced_scan_workbench

This page is available through the "Instructions" link at the bottom left of the page. You have to scroll down a ways to find Liquidity. It is defined as close x volume.
