If you were to recommend one or two books on learning to trade/invest with candlesticks what would you suggest?

    The book that started it all is Steve Nison's " Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques".

    A book on the practical application of candlesticks is Greg(ory L.) Morris's "Candlestick Charting Explained". He recommends combining candle patterns with conventional indicators, which is good advice.
