SCTR vrs SMA

I have run across a few charts that the SCTR is above 90 , however, the 20 SMA is tanking. An example is HFC.(SCTR is 95.8)
I don't understand the disconnect between the two. Would think that they would be more in sync.

Here's a link to how the SCTR is calculated. It uses weighted data from long, medium and short time frames, with long and medium time frames weighted more heavily.

You can see the effect of various price movements on SCTR by adding SCTR Line to your chart style.
Also keep in mind that SCTR is a RELATIVE ranking, so that if all stocks in the SCTR class fall, a stock that falls less might maintain a high SCTR score.
