Hi may i know what's the difference between $WTIC and ^CLZ14 ?

    Basically they are both futures contracts;

    - $WTIC is the continuous contract of light crude oil
    - ^CLZ14 is the Dec 2014 contract of light crude oil

    If you type in ^CL into the symbol search box you can see the whole list of available monthly contracts.

    ^CLF15 Light Crude Oil - Jan 2015 (EOD)
    ^CLG15 Light Crude Oil - Feb 2015 (EOD)
    ^CLH15 Light Crude Oil - Mar 2015 (EOD)
    ^CLK14 Light Crude Oil - May 2014 (EOD)
    ^CLM14 Light Crude Oil - Jun 2014 (EOD)
    ^CLN14 Light Crude Oil - Jul 2014 (EOD)
    ^CLQ14 Light Crude Oil - Aug 2014 (EOD)
    ^CLU14 Light Crude Oil - Sep 2014 (EOD)
