How can I place Implied and historical volatility on my charts?

Implied and historical volatility are normally associated with stock options, but you could try plotting a Std Dev or ATR overlay on your particular stock chart and see if that gives you what you are looking for.

I am not sure how accurate this is: I have a note on $VXO that says it measures implied volatility of $OEX options.0
