Simple question

I just signed up for service which allows me to see intraday. I'm curious what the dotted blue line is that appears on the current day - it's not the open price and it wasn't yesterday's close. Can anybody please fill me in?

    It is normally yesterdays closing price. Do you have an example where it is not yesterdays close?
