Scan Alerts

Hi folks - can anyone help ....
When one creates a scan, is there a way that one can create a daily alert (without having to re-type the entire scan formula in alerts?

You should be able to just copy and paste your scan into the alert workbench window. You will probably want to edit it to specify a symbol you are already interested in or specify a list name for a relatively short list of candidates, but the logic can be exactly the same.

For anyone not familiar with copy and paste - in a Windows screen - in this case the Advanced Scan Workbench Scan Window - hold down your left mouse button and drag the cursor across the text you want to copy. The text will be highlighted. Now with the cursor resting on highlighted text, right click once and select "Copy" from the pop up menu. That puts the highlighted text in memory (the clipboard). Then open the Technical Alerts workbench and click once in the Scan Window there, right click and select "Paste".
