Does anyone know why the 10 and 50 demas are at different levels on IBD Leaderboard charts from thos

e shown on sharpcharts? It seems they should be the same but it appears they are not.

    Do you have specific examples? Best if you can post a graphic of the IBD chart, and include the symbol and chart date, in case they are not clear on the graphic. Also, you should confirm that IBD is using ema and not sma. Also, there is more than one way to calculate an ema, using different weightings.

    thank you. I contacted IBD and much to my surprise they are using SMAs. That explained the whole difference.
