Candles vrs Heikin-Ashi on the Ichimoku Cloud

I have setup two daily full Ichimoku cloud charts for a particular stock. I enter candlesticks for the price format on one chart and enter Heikin-Ashi for the price on the other. When comparing the two charts they look exactly the same. There appears to be no difference between the appearance of the price of candlesticks vrs the Heikin -Ashi price. Am I doing something wrong ? I was curious to see how the interaction with the cloud varied between the two price setups.

Heiken Ashi shows no gaps.
