How to scan for stocks that have been public between 1 and 4 years

As far as I know, there is no clean way to do it.
You could try testing for zero volume before the start of the period you are interested in and then some level of volume after the end date. But, you have to add conditions that disqualify very low volume symbols that don't trade everyday - maybe specify NYSE and NASD, a current market cap above some level, a current average volume above some level.
