I think what you want is a Shooting Star.
The difference, as Stockcharts explains it, is here, near the bottom of the page:

If that's what you want, you can edit the pre-defined daily Shooting Star scan to monthly:
and [monthly Shooting Star is true]
That will get candles that are shooting stars as of the most recent update in the CURRENT month.
For prior months, use the date adjustment tool to choose the last trading day of any prior month you are interested in.0
