Daily Heikin Ashi Candles

I am trying to discern the difference between regular and Heikin Ashi candles. Assume Heikin hollow candles are uptrend and solid candles are a downtrend. Is it possible on a daily chart that the Heikin candle starts out hollow, then turn to solid on that day. Or could it even turn back again to hollow on the same day ?

I don't use H-A, but I would guess that the plot of candle(s) would change with each intraday update, just as candlesticks do (e.g. as the close moves above and below the open, or the previous close, the color of the bar and the fill for the body can change.
