The data is daily, would it be incorrect to use it on a weekly basis.

Hi sberger2, I see no problem in using the cum A/D line on a weekly basis, as matter of fact it may be a wise thing to do to get a handle on the bigger picture. If you plot a cum A/D line like !CUMVOLNAS for example as a weekly bar-chart you will note that the data-set gets compressed into a bar with a O-H-L-C structure that can be used in any type of analysis.
