OBV crossover

Anyone know why this doesn't work?
[type = stock] AND [Daily SMA(20,Daily Volume) > 100000]
and [country is US]

and [yesterday's OBV < yesterday's ema(20,OBV)]
and [today's OBV > today's ema(20,OBV)]

and [Close > 199.9]

    When you use the calendar tool to back date a scan, the symbols come up on the results page, and if you save the results to a list, and display the list, the charts come up in your default style, which presumably is for the CURRENT date, NOT the back date you chose in the calendar tool.

    So, to verify the results of your scan, you have to look at the bar for that date (if it is visible on the chart), or, (much better) use the "select start/end date" option on the chart workbench, and set the end date for the back date of your scan, then apply style to all (button at bottom of workbench page). If you don't want to change dates, and the scan date bar is visible on the chart, you can use the "inspect" tool to line up the bar with the indicator plots.

    Seems to work fine. What problem do you see?

    CHE
    COO
    ESS
    HII
    LLL
    MA
    MELI
    NOC

  • Thank you. If you run that after 4/12 close, it returns ADBE, ANTM, COO and TDG. There is positive crossover for COO and TDG but not for ADBE and ANTM.
  • Whoops, just found the problem. Up top had inadvertently placed 30 in "starting (blank) trading days." Not sure why that messes results but it does. Putting 0 in there gets your results. Many thanks for you help, greatly appreciated.
