Three day low

Can I ask, do the expressions below mean that RSI was below 30 within the last three days, or Stoch was below 20 within the last three days? It could even be below today or it could have been two days ago or it could have been three days ago?

[Min(3,Slow Stoch %K(5,1)) < 20.0]

or [Min(3,RSI(5)) < 30.0]

Comments

  • [Min(3,RSI(5)) < 30.0]

means the lowest of the last three RSI(5) values was below 30. That value might have occurred today (zero days ago), one day ago or two days ago.

    Likewise,

    [Min(3,Slow Stoch %K(5,1)) < 20.0]

means the lowest of the last three Slow Stoch %K(5,1) values was below 20. That value, too, might have occurred today (zero days ago), one day ago or two days ago.
  • Thanks Mark.

It sounds like your saying the same thing I said only in a different way?
  • Yes, except, min 3 does not cover 3 days ago - it covers today, one day ago and two days ago.
  • Yes, thank you.
