How to apply scan on my chart-lists?

in Scanning
Hello guys,
I want to apply a scan when the EMA8 crosses up/down on EMA21, to the stocks on my chart-lists.
I know that the syntax for the crossovers would be:
- cross up: [ weekly ema(8, weekly close) x weekly ema(21, weekly close)]
- cross down: [ weekly ema(8, weekly close) x weekly ema(21, weekly close)]
How would the full syntax be to applicable to some of my chart-lists? On of the names of my chartlists is called "my portfolio".
Thanks a lot!

On the chart workbench, select your list from the "Chartlists" drop down, click "Add", the cut and paste the list name to the top of the scan window to make it the first line of your scan.0

For the cross down shouldn't he have reversed the order of the ema21 and the ema8 ? It looks like he just repeated the identical line twice which would give the same results. I'm new so If I'm wrong my apologies in advance.0
