SCAN: EPS or PE Ratio?

in Scanning
Dear traders, I have a problem using PE ratio and EPS in the scans. In order scan for profitable companies only. I implemented
and [EPS > 0]
as well as
and [PE ratio >0]
Both definitions did not work, and the scan included stocks with EPS<0 and P/E<0 which I tried to avoid.
Do you have any idea how to fix this problem?
Thank you, Rob

I did this and it seems to work
[group is sp500]
and [EPS > 0]
rank by EPS
this works, too
[group is sp500]
and [PE ratio > 0]
rank by PE ratio
I wonder if your scan includes an "or" statement that is not properly bracketed?0 -
Thank you Mark. I cleared the memory, saved the scan again and it works now.
Have a good day! Rob0
