Hello everyone,
I'm back with my grandad for a bit and he's asked for your help again. He has tried to explain this concept to me but I'm not entirely sure if this is possible or how it works: he wants to know if it's possible to have an inverted ADX line that can be used as an overlay (plug in?) and if so, how to go about it.
Any help or redirection would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Em

There are a number of free ones, and then you can also look around for paid ones.
You are probably familiar with the Chart School article

It seems to me that inversion would further complicate an already complex indicator. Maybe there is another indicator that can do what he is looking for? Or maybe an indicator overlaying the ADX line - maybe a moving average using crossovers as signals? Hard to know without knowing what he's thinking.
