Alerts

GM again. I have made some modifications to a scan and would like to also modify the alert. For two days now I have been trying to make the modifications to the alert but it will not save. I have tried a dozen times since yesterday morning. I have written to SC to see if they have some kind of internal issue but as usual have not heard a word from them. I know that it could be something on my end but do you know if SC is working on something right now or if they are having an issue somewhere somehow?

  • I deleted the alerts and set up new alerts. So far that seems to work.

    I noticed a few issues this morning where the system was claiming that symbols weren't symbols and was showing error's instead of charts. It also seems to be returning results of scans a bit slower than normal. Remember to periodically clear cache and log out and back in as that sometimes clears issues.

  • Is it still possible to set up an alert to run at a specific time during the day? Lets say I want to set it up to run at exactly 25 minutes after the open?

    I don't see an option in the alert settings to have an active advanced alert that doesn't run until the 25th minute after the "open". You'd have to change the status on it manually. So... set your alarm to change the advanced alert(s) from paused to continue around the 22nd minute mark and another alarm to pause it around the 32 minute mark and see if that works for you. 10 minutes should give you 2 or so complete "alert" processing cycles.
