Matching up formula with existing indicator
Could you tell me about the following formula, please....it looks familiar:
(number of periods) - (number of periods since highest high)
________________________________________________
(number of periods)
The other half of the indicator is the same except that the 2nd half of the numerator changes to (number of periods since lowest low)
This is supposed to be a velocity indicator.
Does this look familiar?

Looks like its probably the Aroon up/down indicator, here's the formula for a 25 period Aroon.
Aroon-Up = ((25 - Days Since 25-day High)/25) x 100
Aroon-Down = ((25 - Days Since 25-day Low)/25) x 100
