I'm dumping scottrade and thinking about going with interactive brokers. Does anyone have any suggestions or decent brokerages in mind

    Two suggestions - I love Scottrade, my best friend lovers IB, it's all in what you want.

    I use Scottrade as well. Having only used Schwab as a different system, what does IB offer? Just curious.

    IB would probably be an improvement over Scottrade. Scottrade's OPTIONS platform is the worst I've ever seen. You might also try ThinkorSwim or TradeStation.

    commissions at .005 a share per trade. I made the switch and I absolutely love IB

    $1 minimum slippage almost doesn't exsit
