I am trying to find stocks consolidating near their (8) and (13) SMA for at least 5 days. I don't want INDEX, FUND OR BOND IN THE NAME. With the below syntax, FUNDS (Index and Bonds) are all I am getting and from foreign countries! The syntax I used is below: [type is stock] and [country = us] and [sma(20,volume) > 1000000] and [group is not ETF] and [name not contains 'fund'] and [name not contains 'trust'] and [name not contains 'bond'] and [ [exchange is NYSE] or [exchange is NASD] or [exchange is AMEX] ] // the sma (13) has stayed in a 6 per cent range and [sma(13, close) < 5 days ago sma(5,close) * 1.03] and [sma(13, close) > 5 days ago sma(5,close) * .97] // the sma (8) has stayed in a 6 per cent range or [sma(8, close) < 5 days ago sma(5,close) * 1.03] or [sma(8, close) > 5 days ago sma(5,close) * .97] and [Range > 9.99] and [Range < 100] Does anyone know why I am getting foreign funds with the above syntax.
