Is there any way to set an alert for when TSX MACD passes -300 or greater (daily)?

    and [fill in your macd requirement here]

    Check your syntax
    If OK, check the alert settings and save the alert.

    [exchange is TSX] and [MACD Line(12,26,9) < 300.0]

    hopefully its as simple as that? I won't know until an alert triggers (which hopefully won't be for awhile).

    That will get you all of the stocks in the TSX that meet the MACD requirement vs the symbol $TSX meeting the requirement.

    A good way to "test" your alert is to take that same Alert Code and put it into a Scan. Run the Scan and you'll see the results. It's a good practice so that you can see what will be expected in the Alert. You can tweak the code of the Scan as needed. Then take that Scan code and put it in your Alert.
