Daily Volume 3 times 50 day moving average volume....And stock moving lower
I'm looking for the correct way to write a scan that shows current daily volume 3 times the 50 day moving average of volume. Cant seem to get it right. Simple for some - not me....UGH

Some of the basic scans have already been written for you. If you go to the PreDefined Scans, you'll see one for Strong Volume Gainers and one for Strong Volume Decliners.
If you click on the results, it opens a new results page. In the UPPER right hand corner is a link that says "Click here to edit this scan". If you click on that, it opens up the Advanced Scan Workbench, with the filters for that scan already filled in.
You can modify it, or not, there and then SAVE AS, with a name you like, to your Scan List. Then you will have it at your ready, and you will see how the scan is constructed by StockCharts staff.
