Overlay of symbols in different time frames

Hello fellows-chartists,

how can I overlay a chart from say 2014-2016 to a chart of 2017-2019 from a different symbol to check it has the same pattern?

Would be helpful.

Save symbols to a list. Then set one symbol with the older date range. The next as the desired comparison date range

@lmkwin 's suggestion will give you side by side charts, which I think is as close as you can get on Stockcharts itself.

To get an overlay, I think an alternative would be downloading the charts ("copy image" and paste, or "save image" to a file on Windows machines or the equivalent on Apple machines) and using third party software like maybe Powerpoint or Adobe Photoshop or something similar to overlay them. But I'm just guessing.

Or, just print them out from Stockcharts and hold them up to the light. Low tech, but maybe good enough.
