How Do I hire a StockCharts user to help me build scans?

Others have tried your request, I don't know if there were any takers.
Usually people post what they are trying to do and others may assist if they can.
There are also predefined scans on stockcharts.com. Look through them for something close to what you think your "nothing special" scan would be. You can click on any of them, and in the upper right corner is a Click Here to Edit this Scan link.
This will take you into the scan workbench with the code for that scan filled in for you to play around with . It's a great way to learn.

The ChartSchool also has a wealth of information on sample scans and how to write scans

Another great tool is the Magnifier Glass in the upper right of all pages. Type in what you are looking for in that and it should return several results. There is also a Search function on this forum. A lot of good useful information is available.
