How would one go about making a custom indicator for all charts comprised of (closing price) x (day's volume)....?

Found this reply from markd on a prior forum question for a User Defined Index. That would be the way to do it.

"If you can calculate and maintain this index offline - for instance in an Excel spreadsheet, then you can upload it as a UDI. A UDI is just a data series that you create and upload, and then SC displays it on a chart. Here's a link to the documentation: "
