stockchart scan not working 20-nov-2024

the scan not function yesterday since market open, confirmed with stockchart support team its system issue, but still not fix now... anyone get updates ?

    It would be great to have more visibility on the "number". In Chartlist views you have no idea what number you are looking at. You only see the Name. The Name is NOT a unique identifier, the number is.

    Back before the last major upgrade/update, the chartlists were added to the workbench with a different nomenclature as well.



    I probably should go through my scans to add the "new" terminology chartlist identification and remove the "old".

    I haven't noted a chartlist changing number, except when I did it to myself. I created a new chartlist, for IRA holdings with the same name and deleted the old list. Of course the Old list was in scans so I thought I was scannng the correct list, but the list didn't exist. Having the number visable in all places where a chartlist is used would provide some level of protection against this. Of course, having a referential integrity check to throw up an error message on the workbench for a non-existent list would also solve this but.... I'm not running the show.

    I did note back after the last major upgrade/update some additional characters, like hyphens, were added to some of the scan chartlists rendering them as ignored. As Roseanne Roseannadanna would say, it's always something.
