Point and Figure can math be done within the chart?
Hi:
Is it possible to PnF plot a symbol divided by another symbol using stockcharts?
For example: GE / SPY
If that's possible are other math functions also possible such as addition? Can we divide a symbol by multiple symbols and PnF plot that?
For example: AAPL / (NVDA + INTC + AMZN + etc.)
Thanks

This is a relative strength or ratio symbol.
On StockCharts.com you use Symbol colon Symbol or GE:SPY for the example. You can use that ratio symbol for most any type of chart. PnF is no different.
You can even make a chartlist of ratio symbols that you enter. And in the Performance View of a chartlist you can enter a
As to the math function in the example, no you can't do that unless you created a User Defined Index. A User Defined Index is basically a spreadsheet that you create within StockCharts that you fill in the values that you would like to use. So you would need to create the daily values of NVDA+INTC+AMZN+etc. and fill that in for a while. AFTER you have enough data assembled you could then use that UDI in some manner. It is not something that I would recommend to do, but it can be done....theoretically.

You CAN do some Math on StockCharts, like subtracting the Bullish Percents or the % SPX over 50d from the % over 200d. Or taking 60% of the 5 month ROC adding that to 40% of the 12 month ROC to arrive at a weighted value.
"And in the Performance View of a chartlist you can enter a" .... comparison symbol to be applied against the chartlist to show relative performance against that comparison symbol for the different periods.
