  • S&P is responsible for that index. They don't give up that information very readily. Is there an ETF that follows that index? If so, you could check the constituents on the ETF sponsors site. I don't think that the two you mention are the same. They may be similar but indexes are big business and everyone has their quirks and tweaks. XTL says it is the SP Telecom Sector but no mention of Services.

I believe they are not, although there is probably some overlap. On Stockcharts, I think the most likely members of such an index would be Fixed Line Communications and Mobile Communications.

Communication Services are the more specifically internet-oriented industries.

More helpful might be the iShares ETF symbol IYZ (US Telecommunications ETF) that overlaps many of the symbols in the two industries mentioned above, although its benchmark is the Russell 1000 telecom stocks.

There is a "data download" icon at the top right of the page that gives you an excel spreadsheet of the holdings.
I have Excel on my machine but I don't know if you need Excel to download it.

Another source might be finviz.com which has a screener by fundamentals.

I don't think you can download unless you are a member.
