Chg is the absolute value of the change in value. Chg % is the % change in value.
So a 101 value with a +1 change would be a 1% change
100 + 1 CHG or 1/100 CHG %.
A 51 value with a +1 change would be a 2% change
50 + 1 CHG or 1/50 CHG %.0 -
To put it another way:
100 ...yesterday's close
101 ... today's close
101 - 100 = 1 ... CHG (today's close - yesterday's close)
1/100 = .01 or 1% = %CHG (difference of closes divided by yesterday's close)
