I have two new scans set up in Alerts. When I have the alerts running, both of these scans alert at the open every day. Would you happen to know why that happens? As soon as I get the alerts, I run the scans manually and only one of them is active just as I would expect. 1. [Favorites list is 2] and [[SMA(20) > 1 Day ago…

At first, I thought the first version would keep me just above the day's low (.006) and just above yesterday's low, again (.006) but now I think that I may have had it written incorrectly. [[Close < 1 Day ago High - [0.006*[1 Day ago High - 1 Day ago Low]]] or [Close < 1 Day ago High - [1 Day ago Range *.006]] and [Close <…

It sounds like you are looking for a very tight condition. If the 9 ema is at 10 and the 20 ema is at 9 the absolute difference is 1 and 1 divided by 10 is 0.10 or 10% . If they were reversed with the 9ema at 9 and 20ema at 10 the difference would be -1, absolute difference of 1. 1 divided by 9 is 0.11 or 11%. The MACD…

Hi gord, (or anyone) My volume overlay stopped working @ 1:10PM and my MACD bars are messed up after 1:10PM. Also, there's a yellow vertical line on the entire chart at 1:10PM. Since I first noticed it, everything is @ 1:15PM -- stopped. How do I fix?

Is it possible to require or make a whole expression 1 Day ago without writing 1 Day ago for each component of the expression? As an example; [[Close > SMA(20)] and [Open < Close] and [MACD Hist(3,6,0) > 0.0] and [MACD Line(12,26,9) < MACD Signal(12,26,9)] and [MACD Hist(48,103,36) < 0.0] and [MACD Hist(72,156,54) < 1 Day…

I assume you mean by triple and double inside bars, three or two consecutive inside bars. So, to keep it simple, I'm going to define an inside bar as a bar with a lower high and a higher low than the previous bar. For daily, it would be and [high < 1 day ago high] and [low > 1 day ago low] For weekly, you have to add…

Chg is the absolute value of the change in value. Chg % is the % change in value. So a 101 value with a +1 change would be a 1% change 100 + 1 CHG or 1/100 CHG %. A 51 value with a +1 change would be a 2% change 50 + 1 CHG or 1/50 CHG %.

MACD Hist measures the distance between Line and Signal, so you might try looking for something like 3 consecutive shorter Hist bars. For positive Hist it would be Hist > 0, Hist less than 1 day ago Hist, 1 day ago Hist > 0, 1 day ago Hist < 2 days ago Hist, etc. For Hist below zero, it would be the reverse - Hist < 0,…
