I want to add a Price Indicator, and I know how to do that, but I would like it to adopt the same scale as the primary charted symbol. Specifically, I am charting $GOLD, and I have a User-Defined Index that is something like $GOLD. When I add the Price as an indicator, it scales proportionately from its initial value.…

Just signed up to ask this question... where are the Point and Figure charts now? How do I access them. Hopefully you did not just delete them entirely. Such important info displayed by this type of chart.

DDG before today required you to run the scan, it opened in another tab, but you still had to run the scan a second time. Now it simple opens a blank tab, and the second, third, etc. all open blank tabs. No scan results appear now. I use several other stock websites and they all work with DDG except Stockcharts.

Yes, that is what Price Relative does. It opens up a lot more possibilities. It allows you to look for New RS highs, like your code and also allows moving averages of Price Relative to be used like the original post was asking about. It does have some limitations. You have to use an actual symbol in the SC library, so…

StockCharts.com recently added a new page they call the Sample Scan Library https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/sample/scan-library.html This gives you access to all of the scan code for all of the predefined scans, as well as many "new" sample scans added "From the Experts". They also added a "New Relative Highs and…

I get a kick out of the headlines and pictures they throw out there to try and get attention The Great Bear Phase of Q2. Nice thing about PnF charts is that you can put a SMA 1 on them and the line will bisect each column. Current Traditional scale PnF chart with all of the High Pole Columns highlighted at the High Pole…

Written from a daily perspective. Finds stocks that have outperformed your chosen index for 6mo, 3mo, 1mo and the last week. That is, above the line in all 4. I have not found a way to add sector and industry outperformance to the scan, so that will require a chart review of the results. Helpful? // and […

Bruce Faser just announced that his Power Charting show that just posted was his last show. Last week, Halftime by Chaikin Analytics announced their last show was their last show. Earlier this year, Dave Landry announced his show has ended. Larry Williams turned into a separately paid service now. Running low on watchable…

I see how to save a chart template, and make it my new default, but when I import/create a new chart list, it has the old default chart template and I have to manually apply my new template to that chart and save it, which gets old if I have dozens of charts in a list. How can I get ACP to automatically apply my new…

I trade swings generally and find I usually find opportunities with this very simple scan: - I use basic parameters for each scan, then Add this scans criteria following the basics: - Today's scan: and [Close > Yesterday's Close] and [Close - Low >= High - Low * 0.80]

Although they still have Price Relative in the "Indicators not supported" listing, my observation is that you CAN use the Price Relative in the scan workbench. I have used it in scans and alerts using the Min/Max, and it appears to produce correct results. and [[Price Relative(SPY) >= yesterdays Daily MAX(25,Price…

Excellent suggestion. I will make one in a week or so along the same lines so they will have another user requested improvement to put on file. I will also get the same response, but the hope is that with more users seeing what others are suggesting/requesting, that they may add their voice to request the same.
